The philosophy of scalaria can be summed up as ‘Surprise, inspire, astound’.

To satisfy customers’ needs alone is not enough. The aim of the hotel is that guests should set off on their journeys home with standing ovations in their heads.

Whether we surprise, inspire and astound the guest, thereby triggering the ‘WOW effect’, this is determined by two factors. Just as with every service provider, it is the harmonious interplay between the hardware (buildings, furnishings, etc.) and software (employees, customer orientation) that makes the difference between success and failure, between enthusiastic guests and those who will never return.

The combination of innovative buildings rich in ideas, unique event locations, the high degree of modern event technology and designer rooms, does not yet guarantee any thank you letters and references. Instead, the scalaria is distinguished by its ‘absolute customer care’, the complete guest orientation throughout the event. Its strength in doing this is to be found in ‘the human side of enterprise’.
